Lake Bled, Slovenia, and the trip into Italy: a photo entry

You may question your accomodation choice when the cheap place you find has one decoration in the shared lounge room - a dusty stuffed pheasant. But with all our basic needs met, we could find visual stimulation elsewhere as just down the street was beautiful lake Bled.

Here are a few images from our picturesque drive through Slovenia as we made our way from Vienna to Verona.

Lake Bled

We only stayed at Lake Bled one night but we took the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing morning swim in the stunning lake while we were there. Swans and 'Swanboroughs' together loving the water and great views of trees, castles and...each other!?
